Back Street Gallery is a 25 member-rich Local art Co-op started in 2005 in Old Town Florence. Located right on Bay Street, their open red front-door invites you into an ever changing display of art that includes photography, watercolor, mixed-media, pottery, fabric art, glass art, wood turning, handmade greeting cards, and so much more.You’ll discover colorful, functional, fanciful and fine handcrafted art. Staff who greets you will be one of the owner/member, working artists.The Gallery hosts its Featured Artist on each second Saturday during the G.A.L.A. Art Walk, a free bus tour of local galleries. You can meet the artists and find out about their art from 3-5pm. On the last Wednesday of the month, the gallery presents live entertainment from 5-7pm during our After Hours party. Both events serve a scrumptious spread of refreshments. You can also take a class from one of the member artists!
